With the belief, “It’s not what you know, it’s WHO,” Jacquelyn Pierce is on a mission to create programming and content that introduces you to the people you need to know. Whether it’s getting to know the doctors, lawyers and accountants in town or finding the best place to eat, shop or exercise, she and her partners envisioned WHO DETROIT as the ultimate networking tool.

“There are so many fabulous, energized and intelligent people in Detroit – but to the community at large, these people are invisible! If there was an easy way to learn more about who these people really are, we could really be connected as a community.”

Jacquelyn has earned the reputation in both the broadcast industry and in the marketing arena as an innovator. She produced and hosted an award winning television talk show called Reality 101, and has been involved in numerous TV pilots, Commercials, and video productions as both talent and producer. In 1996, Jacquelyn joined Warren Pierce, as co-host of a talk radio program, simulcast on television, where she interviewed over 3,000 international, national and local guests from all walks of life. Some of her favorite guests included Author Tom Clancy, Comedian George Carlin, New York Mayor Ed Koch and her neighbor growing up, the late Mr. (Fred) Rogers, not to mention a host of local personalities.

As a native Detroiter, Jacquelyn enjoys being part of the fabric of the community. Her energy, intelligence and warmth are the cornerstone of Who Detroit – ensuring that every guest is presented in their best – and most interesting – light.
